Dr. Asghar Makarem is a board-certified ENT and head and neck surgeon and a graduate of Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He has thirty years of experience in patient care and surgery, medical education and academic administration.
Dr. Makarem’s academic and administrative experience includes university faculty membership, department leadership, hospital leadership and university presidency. Teaching medical students and training ENT residents have also been an important part of his professional work.
His practice covers rhinoplasty, ear, throat and laryngeal conditions, nasal and sinus conditions, and head and neck surgery. In addition to seeing patients at his office, he provides medical and surgical care at Payambaran, Alborz and Milad hospitals in Tehran.
